The children paired up with year 9s from Chetham’s so create paintings which were inspired by Aboriginal Art, Kandinsky and classical music ! Heald Place students took along their chosen favourite music downloaded onto the school Ipads. This included music such as Aquarium by Saint Saens, Jupiter by Holst, Fur Elise by Beethoven. All the students said they loved taking part and really enjoyed the experience of working together across the primary and secondary age range. Take a look at the photos to see the artistic process and team work in action! The children also had a tour of the Baronial Hall which is six hundred years old! The hall had a magical feel and is still used for weekly concerts.
