Stay safe online during Covid 19
Updated Guidance on Keeping Children Safe Online
With the Home Office and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the Local Authority have updated advice and guidance to help parents and carers to keep children safe online during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak to include new information on apps to help children stay safe online.
The advice and guidance on keeping children safe online can be found here:

Your child has been taught in school how to stay safe online. However, although your home internet is likely to have parental controls set, it will not have the additional filters that we have in school. It is therefore vital that you take time to remind your child of the rules of working online, expectations and behaviour and to also approproiately monitor their online activity. For example, ensure that their screens are visible to you so you can see what they are accessing to ensure what they are doing is safe. Please find below sources of support for parents and children.
